Drake women's basketball junior guard Megan Meyer earned Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year, as announced Thursday March 10.
Prior to joining the Bulldogs, she spent two years at Iowa.
Meyer has made an immediate on the Bulldogs program, as she worked her way into the Bulldogs starting lineup over the summer and came out with a bang.
She is the only player on the Bulldogs roster to start and compete in all 29 games for Drake. Meyer leads the in scoring, as she averages 12.4 points per game.
She has recorded 11 games as Drake's leading scorer and 19 games scoring in double digits.
