MADISON, Ill. – The Drake men's golf team finished up play in its first event of the fall season this afternoon at the Dolenc Invitational. The Bulldogs finished in 16th out of the 18-team field after two days of competition with a three-round total of 885 (298-284-303=885).
A pair of sophomore Bulldogs led the way for Drake on the leaderboard in Jake Weissenburger and Dylan Drogemuller. The duo both shot total scores of 218 with Weissenburger carding rounds 72-70-76, while Drogemuller posted rounds of 72-71-75. With their 218 totals the pair tied for 40th and Weissenburger's second round score of 1-under, 70 was the lowest round of the tournament for Drake.
