CHICAGO -- The Drake University track & field programs saw multiple student-athletes earn spots on the podium and move onto finals during day one of the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Gately Park on Sunday (Feb. 26).
Drake's men's distance medley relay team of Aidan Simon, Dyer Jarabek, Jack Burns and Isaac Basten took the gold with a time of 10:07.01.
The Bulldog men's weight throwers claimed silver and bronze with Anthony Barmes (66-05.75) finishing second. Adam Phillips' furthest throw was 64-08.
