ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Drake University men's basketball team suffered a 67-58 loss to Bradley in the first round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament to close out its 2016-17 season.
De'Antae McMurray (Alton, Ill.) led Drake with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists while T.J. Thomas (Stone Mountain, Ga.) had 12 points and eight assists. However, the Bulldogs had no answer in the second half for Bradley's Donte Thomas who scored all 17 of his points in the second half on 8-of-9 shooting with nine rebounds.
