OMAHA, Neb. – Trailing at halftime, the Drake (6-3, 1-0) men's basketball team overcame its biggest deficit of the season to defeat Omaha (1-8) by a final score of 78-70 inside Baxter Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
"It was tough for us," head coach Darian DeVries said. "We had a rough first half. We got outplayed and could never get going. But in the second half, we had some things start to happen in a positive way for us."
Only a minute into the contest, Tucker DeVries buried a 3-pointer for a quick 3-2 advantage.
