ANCHORAGE, Ak. – The Drake University men's basketball team is set to play the first of three games at the GCI Great Alaska Shootout on Nov. 24 at 8:30 p.m. CST. The Bulldogs open up competition in Anchorage against Iona on CBS Sports Network.
The Bulldogs travel to Alaska with a 1-2 record after defeating Simpson College, 76-61, on Nov. 19. Iona, which is coming off of an NCAA appearance, is 0-2 on the season with road losses to Florida State and Nevada. Senior forward Jordan Washington leads the Gaels with 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
