EVANSVILLE, IND. - The Drake University men's basketball team picked up a 23-point, 73-50, win at Evansville Wednesday evening behind 62.5 percent shooting from the three-point arc.
The 23-point margin of victory equaled the Bulldogs' biggest margin in a road game during the last decade and was the biggest in a league road game during that span. Drake led for all but 14 seconds of the contest.
"I loved our response tonight after the SIU loss," said Drake head coach Darian DeVries. "Their approach to practice the last few days set the tone and I thought they came out with tremendous purpose and set the tone in the first half.
