DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's basketball team will play six home games as part of its 12-game non-conference schedule announced Friday, July 1.
The Bulldogs will potentially face a total of six teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season and three others that qualified for postseason play. The slate of non-conference opponents boasted a combined record of 297-233 (.560) in 2015-16.
"I'm excited about this year's schedule and the opportunity to play more home games," said Drake head coach Ray Giacoletti. "It's a competitive and challenging schedule that will test us in many ways and prepare us for the Valley season.
