DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University men's basketball team has added transfer Sardaar Calhoun, head coach Darian DeVries announced on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
"We are thrilled to welcome Sardaar to our Bulldog family," DeVries said. "He's a very gifted offensive player that has a perfect combination of size, skill and athleticism. He will be a terrific fit in our system and locker room."
A native of Tappahannock, Va., Calhoun was a member of the Texas Tech men's basketball team to begin the 2021-22 season and appeared in eight games. Calhoun appeared in 25 games with Florida State during the 2020-21 campaign averaging 5.
