DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom will spotlight some of the premier shot put throwers in the world. The elite fields in the men's and women's shot put will again battle for the title in Drake Stadium on Saturday, while historic Drake Fieldhouse will host one of the sport's more unique and intimate competitions with the return of the Team Shot Put Showcase on Wednesday night.
"The Team Shot Put Showcase and elite shot put events have been hits at the Drake Relays," Franklin P. Johnson Director of the Drake Relays Blake Boldon said.
