FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Drake women's tennis team was on the road for the second straight weekend to start the 2025 spring season. The Bulldogs were swept by Arkansas 7-0 and 4-0 in another Saturday double-header.
The Bulldogs were able to earn a victory in doubles play for the second time in as many weeks as Nicole Lee, a member of the defending MVC Doubles Team of the Week, paired with newcomer Jana Ruzic in the No. 3 spot. Lee and Ruzic pulled off a 6-3 upset of Arkansas' Katie Ferguson and Jimena Gomez Alonso.
