DES MOINES, Iowa -- Anthony Lawrence passed for 227 yards and a touchdown and added two short TD runs to propel San Diego to a 27-10 victory over Drake in Pioneer Football League play on Saturday.
San Diego have a 27-game win streak in the PFL -- the active high in the FCS.
Lawrence ran it in from 2 yards out and scored on a 1-yard plunge to give the Toreros (7-2, 6-0) a 13-0 first-quarter lead. The Bulldogs (4-3, 3-2) got on the scoreboard when Jeran Proctor picked off Lawrence and raced 27 yards for a touchdown to make it 13-7.
