ST. LOUIS – Drake head track & field and cross country coach Jay Koloseus was named Missouri Valley Conference men's cross country Coach of the Year based on a vote from fellow MVC cross country coaches on Thursday, Nov. 2.
Koloseus guided Drake men's cross country to its second conference title in three years on Friday, Oct. 27 in Nashville. The Bulldog men's team placed four runners in the top-9 of the 2023 MVC Cross Country Championships.
Koloseus joined the Drake track & field and cross country staff in August of 2017 as the program's assistant men's distance coach and recruiting coordinator before being promoted to head coach in the summer of 2022.
