MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State defeated the Drake University women's soccer team, 1-0, Thursday night at the K-State Soccer Complex in Manhattan, Kan.
Katie Cramer scored off a free kick in the 54 minute (54:35) for Kansas State (3-0) in the second all-time meeting with Drake (1-2). Cramer's second goal of the season came after a foul by the Bulldogs as she sent a low ball after the restart that got past (Hoffman Estates, Ill.).
Drake finished with five shots, including three on goal. (Skokie, Ill.), (Westfield, Ind.) and (Kansas City, Mo.) each tallied one shot on goal.
