TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Facing a 2-0 deficit, the Drake University volleyball team fought back to take a set before falling at Indiana State Saturday afternoon, 3-1.
The Sycamores earned a season series split with the Bulldogs by set scores of 27-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-15.
Drake (8-15, 2-8 MVC) was led again by the emergent Emily Plock, who had 21 kills and nine digs to record her second-straight game with 20 or more kills and third in her last four outings. Riley Dolphin, who is making her way back from injury, added seven kills on 12 attempts and added two blocks.
