COLUMBIA, Mo. – Six top-five finishes and one the top performances in school history in the hurdles highlighted the Drake University track & field team's two days at the Tom Botts Invitational in Columbia, Mo.
The women's 400-meter hurdles saw Victoria Coombe (Centennial, Colo.) continue her strong junior season by winning the event in 1:00.80, the sixth-fastest time in school history and a personal best for Coombe. She also ran the anchor leg of the Bulldogs' 4x400-meter relay that finished first in 3:51.36.
Mary Young (Urbandale, Iowa) also recorded one of the top time in school history as her second-place finish of 24.
