ST. LOUIS -- Drake women's soccer freshman forward Angela Gutierrez was named Missouri Valley Conference Women's Soccer Freshman of the Week for the third time this season, the league announced on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Gutierrez is constantly pressuring opposing defenses as Drake's leading shot-taker so far this year. She scored her third goal of the season, which served as the game-winning goal (second of her career) in the 61st minute against Valparaiso on Sunday.
