FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The Drake University men's and women's cross country teams continued their season Saturday, Sept. 29, afternoon at the Roy Griak Invitational.
Drake's men finished seventh out of 15 teams and Maximilian Fridrich (Salzburg, Austria) led all Bulldogs with a fifth-place individual finish in the men's race after winning his last race at the Les Bolstad Course three weeks ago.
Fridrich completed the 8-kilometer course against a much more difficult field in 24:44.2, just 11 seconds off the winning pace of 24:33.4 set by Harvard's Kieran Tuntivate.
Senior Kevin Kelly (Kilcok, Ireland) turned in a top-20 finish for the Bulldogs as well, finishing in 25:05.
