DES MOINES, Iowa – Reed Fischer, Emma Huston, Cole Friedman and Meghan Kearney have been named the recipients of the Drake men's and women's cross country team's leadership awards for the 2015 season, head coach Dan Hostager has announced.
Fischer, a native of Minnetonka, Minn., was named the recipient of the Fred Feiler Leadership Award following a tremendous junior season for the Bulldogs. Fischer was the Bulldogs' top finisher in each meet he competed in and finished second at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship to earn first-team All-MVC and first team Academic All-MVC.
