ST. LOUIS – Former Drake University softball standout Dani Tyler has been selected to the Missouri Valley Conference Softball 25-Year Anniversary Team, the MVC office announced Thursday, April 26 morning.
The 2017-18 season is a landmark one for the MVC and for women's sports. To help celebrate the 45th anniversary of Title IX and the 25th anniversary of women's sports, the Valley is naming 25-Year Anniversary Teams throughout 2017-18 for each of the league's sponsored women's sports.
Tyler, a native of River Forest, Ill., is the most recognized softball player in Drake and MVC history, and she became first Valley player selected for the U.
