DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University football team is ready for the second-half of the season after coming off its bye week as the Bulldogs travel to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to square off with Marist College at 1 p.m. EST.
Saturday's contest is the sixth meeting between Drake and Marist and the first between the programs since 2014. The Bulldogs lead the series, 5-0, and are 2-0 at Tenney Stadium. The Bulldogs fell to Dayton, 20-10, in their last time out on Oct. 7, snapping a six-game Pioneer Football League winning streak. The Red Foxes enter Saturday's game on a two-game losing streak as they lost at Valpo 49-15 last week.
