DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University football team fell to San Diego, 38-7, on Saturday afternoon at Drake Stadium.
The Toreros controlled the game from the beginning to the end as USD had possession of the ball for over 20 minutes in the first-half and 15 minutes in the final two-quarters and out gained Drake by over 200 yards.
San Diego's offense was propelled by Anthony Lawrence and Jonah Hodges. Lawrence threw four touchdown passes for 259 yards and completed 19-of-29 of his passes. Hodges rushed for a game-high 112 yards on 21 carries.
