Drake University's Adam Fogg made history Saturday afternoon at the Iowa State Classic as he became the first Drake University student-athlete to ever record a sub 4-minute mile.
Fogg, who was already the school record holder in the event, bettered that and shattered the 4-minute barrier in 3:59.03. He finished second in the event behind only fellow Australian and All-American performer Jack Anstey.
The performance made him just the 75th Australian to break the 4-minute mark in the mile.
He was trailed in the event by teammate Ryan Schweizer who was sixth in 4:08.
