NEW YORK – FCS Football Central has released its Preseason All-America Teams, and the Drake Bulldogs have representation. Last year's Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Year Finn Claypool was included as a Second Team Defensive Lineman.
Claypool, a Des Moines native, added All-PFL First Team and Academic All-PFL recognition to his DPOY nod last season. He helped lead Drake to the 2023 PFL title with an undefeated 8-0 league record and was a key piece in the Bulldogs' first-ever FCS playoff appearance.
