AMES, Iowa – Drake track and field executed well in another trip to Ames for the Iowa State Classic on Saturday. The Bulldogs got contributions from all facets of their bunch with three women's wins and a men's title highlighting the outing.
Tyla Lumley took the women's 5,000m crown with a time of 16:25.29. Emilie Meyer also earned an individual win in the women's 800m with a solid showing of 2:09.45. Meyer also teamed up with Savannah Ming, Briandrias Rhodes, and Madison Bunton to capture first place in the women's 4x400 relay with a time of 3:54.
