ABILENE, Texas – The Drake women's golf team saw its time at the West Texas Classic end after two rounds of play due to high winds canceling the final round on Tuesday. With that, the Bulldogs ended the tournament in fifth place with a team score of 610 (300-310).
Host institution Abilene Christian claimed the team title with a 36-hole score of 581 (292-289).
The Bulldogs had three individuals place in the top-20 with Erika Holmberg taking the top spot on the leaderboard with a total score of 151. Holmberg post rounds of 74 and 77 en route to a tied for 14th finish.
