In Suzie Glazer Burt Head Coach Allison Pohlman's first game at the helm of the storied Drake women's basketball program, the multiple new faces impressed Bulldog fans.
Of those new faces, Megan Meyer shined the most in her debut for Drake. The junior guard from Mason City, Iowa, who transferred to Drake from Iowa this summer, led all first-half scorers with 9 points including two-for-two from the three-point line. In the second half Meyer added 11 points on 66% shooting to lead all scorers with a game-high 20 points. Meyer also contributed five rebounds and three assists.
