ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake's Katie Dinnebier did it again for the Bulldogs as she led Drake to an undefeated weekend in Des Moines, extending the Dogs' winning streak to seven games. The senior guard averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals in the Bulldogs' undefeated homestand.
Dinnebier started the weekend with a quiet 16-point, 9-assist, 6-rebound performance in an 86-63 defeat of UIC and followed that with 31 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals in another blowout win of Valparaiso. Her 31 points marked her fifth 30-plus scoring game of the season, and seventh of her career, marking the second-highest total number of 30-plus scoring games achieved by a player in the NCAA Women's Division I ranks this year.
