DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake softball has found its next leader as Lindsay Diehl has been selected as the program's next head coach, Director of Athletics Brian Hardin announced Friday evening.
"I want to thank Brian Hardin and Stephanie Sledge for the opportunity to be a part of Drake University athletics," Diehl stated. "I am truly honored to have been chosen to lead the Drake softball program. I felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as I stepped on campus. I look forward to getting to know the young women of this team and to connect with the alumni as I take over leading the Bulldogs.
