BOSTON, Mass. – Tucker DeVries was announced as a finalist for the 2022-23 Lou Henson National Player of the Year award presented by CollegeInsider.com on Thursday, March 9.
The award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in Division I college basketball and honors the former Illinois and New Mexico State head coach who won 775 games in 41 seasons.
DeVries, the 2022-23 Larry Bird Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year averages 19.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals over the course of 33 games played this season.
