The Drake University men's and women's cross country teams return to Minnesota this Saturday, Sept. 29, to compete at the 33rd annual Roy Griak Invitational. The annual meet is one of the largest and most prestigious in the Midwest and often gives an early preview of November's NCAA Regional competitions.
The Bulldogs are heading into the meet coming off of a two-week training block and are excited to take on the challenging course as the Les Bolstad Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. Earlier this season, the team got a brief preview of parts of the course at the shorter Oz Memorial, an event won by sophomore Maximilian Fridrich (Salzburg, Austria).
