The Drake University cross country teams returns to action Friday, Oct. 13, following three weeks of training to compete in the Bradley Pink Classic, the team's final competition before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
The Bulldogs are set to race against 32 Division I programs at the competition with the men's 8k race beginning at 3:15 p.m. followed by the women's 6k at 4 p.m. The races are two five the host Bradley is staging Friday afternoon on their fast course.
The men's 8k race will be the second-straight race of that distance as the team finishing in the top-10 overall at the distance at last month's Roy Griak Invitational with Josh Yeager (Center Point, Iowa) leading the Bulldogs to earn MVC Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors.
