DES MOINES, Iowa – Construction continues on the Bright-Beckwith Boathouse at Prospect Park that will serve as the new home of the Drake University rowing program.
Crews have placed the walls of the boathouse along with building's ceiling structure. Later this week, crews are expected to pour the flooring in the building. After the floor is poured more work will continue as the building's electricity, interior walls and plumbing are expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
Follow the progress of the Bright-Beckwith Boathouse all summer on www.GoDrakeBulldogs.com. The boathouse is anticipated to be finished in time for the fall season for the program.
