The Drake University men's basketball team suffered a 100-71 loss to Colorado in the Bulldogs' first road game of the season Tuesday, Nov. 13, evening at the CU Events Center.
The Buffaloes assembled a 27-5 run that spanned two four-minute periods that bookended halftime to pull away for the win in their season opener.
Colorado's victory was keyed by 25 points from Namon Wright while the Buffaloes defense limited Drake to 38.7 percent shooting while the CU offense converted at a 58.9 percent clip.
