RIVERSIDE, Iowa – Drake men's golf was up against cold temperatures and windy conditions on the final day of the Iowa Fall Classic hosted at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course (Par 72) on Monday, Oct. 17. The Bulldogs finished in seventh place as a team (309-307-318-934). Iowa (294-302-288-884) came back to win its own tournament by six strokes.
Shayne Patel (74-76-79-229) wrapped up play tied for 14th place. Patel concluded the tournament with eight birdies and 32 pars. Freshman Cale Leonard (77-77-79-233) was consistent throughout all three rounds to wind up tied for 24th place.
