CONWAY, Ark. – Central Arkansas defeated the Drake University men's soccer team, 3-1, on Tuesday night in Missouri Valley Conference action at the Bill Stephens Soccer and Track Complex in Conway, Ark.
The match was 0-0 until Central Arkansas (3-6, 2-1 MVC) scored in the 55 minute (55:04) as Pepe San Roman connected on a free kick from 25 yards that went just past the outstretched hands of diving Drake (3-7, 0-2 MVC) goalkeeper Cade McCullough (Evansville, Ind.). Roman was awarded the free kick after a yellow card was issued to Aleksi Tuominen (Helsinki, Finland), who had a hard tackle on Roman.
