DES MOINES, Iowa. – The Drake track and field team divided and conquered over the weekend with successful stays at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. and Maverick Premier in Mankato, Minn. The Bulldogs' performances were highlighted by an individual win in the men's mile and a women's program record.
"[It was] an exciting weekend with a split team in Mankato and Fayetteville," Drake head coach Jay Koloeus said. "We're blown away by Emilie Meyer's new school record and Brogan Giffin winning the Tyson mile. We finished the weekend with 21 personal records.
