MURRAY, Ky. – The Drake University softball team got back on track tonight after dropping games two in a row. The Bulldogs racked up four runs in the final two innings to beat Murray State on the road, 6-1.
Neither team could find paydirt over the first three innings as the fourth frame started with a scoreless tie. Drake (17-17, 5-6) eventually broke the stalemate with a two-RBI double to left center off the bat of . Drake never relinquished the lead after going up 2-0.
Later, in the sixth inning, doubled the Drake advantage with a two-run homerun to make it 4-0 Dogs.
