OMAHA, Neb. – The Drake University women's soccer team came up short in another road match this evening. The Bulldogs ceded a pair of first-half goals at Omaha and could not rally in the second stanza as the Mavericks took the victory, 2-0.
Omaha (3-0-2) got going about as early as possible on Sunday, scoring in just the second minute of the game. Marissa Gohr deposited her second goal of the year after assists from Alyssa Kellar and Emilie Erland.
