DES MOINES, Iowa – Meghan Brown and Lily Overstreet of the Drake women's soccer team were both recognized on the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District team, the organization announced on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Brown is a Health Sciences major with a 3.61 grade point average. The Chatfield, Minn., native experienced an offensive renaissance during her senior season for an All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team selection. She scored all four of her career goals in a stretch of five games this season with only seven shots on goal. Brown was also an MVC Scholar-Athlete Team Honorable Mention.
