ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake volleyball players Kacie Rewerts and Addison Beagle represented the Bulldogs with a pair of weekly conference honors. Rewerts earned MVC Defensive Player of the Week while Beagle collected her third MVC Freshman of the Week award of the season.
Rewerts had a phenomenal weekend to open MVC action. The Nevada, Iowa native provided ample defensive pressure on the first row of the Bulldog defense with 17 total blocks in two games. She started the weekend with eight blocks in a four-set win at UIC (9/23) and another nine rejections at Valparaiso (9/24).
