ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake men's basketball junior swingman Tavion Banks earned a spot on the Missouri Valley Conference All-Bench team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. Banks has been tabbed the conference's Team Captain for the All-Bench Team.
Banks has played in 29 games averaging 9.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game this season. The Kansas City, Mo., native posted a pair of double-doubles this season going for 11-and-13 against Evansville on Jan. 11 and most recently scored 14 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the regular season finale against Missouri State.
