DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake men's basketball officially signed Andrell Burton Jr. and KJ Tenner during the recent Fall National Signing period.
Burton Jr. is a 6'7" swingman from Wichita, Kan., rated as a 3-star recruit by ESPN and 247 sports. At Campus High School, he earned Wichita Eagle All-Metro Second Team honors during the 2022-23 season. His breakout game occurred on Dec. 13, 2022, against Newton when Burton Jr. poured in 40 points with 14 rebounds, six assists and three blocks.
"Andrell is an elite athlete with the ability to make plays with the basketball above the rim," DeVries said.
