DES MOINES, Iowa – Playing for the second time in less than 24 hours, the Drake men's basketball team wrapped up the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 124-48 romp past St. Ambrose at the Knapp Center on Wednesday afternoon – the largest victory margin in school history.
The Bulldogs (10-3) knocked down a school-record 18 3-pointers, racked up a season-high 30 assists and reached the third-highest point total in school annals in dominating their NAIA opponent.
Five Drake players scored in double figures and it was a career high for two of them, led by redshirt junior Okay Djamgouz's 21 points.
