The Detroit Tigers are fighting to hold onto their goal of making the playoffs this season, but their place in the middle of the MLB standings has created a lot of uncertainty surrounding their trade deadline plans.
If the Tigers decide to be sellers, the obvious choice they would look to move is David Price, who the club has already received interest about from a myriad of teams, though the Cubs and Dodgers have shown the most interest.
Toronto has also expressed serious interest in acquiring closer Joakim Soria, and the Giants have talked to the Tigers about making a deal to get outfielder Rajai Davis.
However, Detroit also hasn't ruled out being buyers at the deadline, and would like to bring in another arm or two to bolster their rotation if they decide to move in that direction, according to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.
