The Mud Hens were actually first on the board in this one, but Tyler Alexander had a rough day at the office. Willi Castro reached via an error in the first inning and promptly stole second base. After Josh Lester and Mikie Mahtook drew one-out walks, Dustin Peterson brought Castro home with a sacrifice fly. Alexander held the Wings off the board for three innings, but he consistently got into deep counts and was fortunate on several hard-hit balls that went for outs. In the fourth, he crumbled, giving up three runs while running his pitch count to 95 for the game.
