MILWAUKEE -- For the second consecutive night, the Tigers saw their chance to play spoiler in the Brewers' National League Central chase foiled by a go-ahead home run in the late innings. This time, however, right fielder Nicholas Castellanos had no chance to get a glove on it. He could only watch as Christian Yelich's second homer of the night soared into the right-field second deck at Miller Park, sending Detroit to a second straight 6-5 loss on Saturday night.
The script was eerily familiar to Friday's loss. Again, the Tigers took a 3-0 lead early, this time on a pair of RBI hits from Niko Goodrum.
