Justin Wilson has heard a lot about it.
“The Tigers’ weakness, in the past, it’s been their bullpen,” the recently-acquired left-handed reliever said on Thursday afternoon. “And from what (general manager) Al (Avila) told me is they want me and Mark (Lowe) and Frankie (Rodriguez) to come in there and make a change.”
And the Tigers’ bullpen has changed this off-season. After adding Rodriguez to close last month and Lowe and Wilson to set-up last week, the team has a trio of top-end bullpen arms at manager Brad Ausmus’ disposal for the first time in three seasons.
