It’s unclear if Hurricane Irma will prevent shortstop Jose Iglesias from rejoining the Detroit Tigers in Cleveland on Monday.
Iglesias was activated from the paternity list on Saturday, but was not in Toronto for the weekend series with the Blue Jays. Iglesias had returned to Florida to be with his wife for the birth of his second child, Alvaro Jose, in the Miami area.
It wasn’t clear whether Iglesias’ travel plans would be impacted by Irma, the devastating former Category 5 storm that ravaged parts of the Caribbean last week and was taking aim at Florida's west coast on Sunday.
