BOWLING GREEN, KY - The moon may have blocked the sun across America.
But at Bowling Green Ballpark in Kentucky, it was the sun that got the upper hand. At least on the baseball field.
As part of a promotion created by the Bowling Green Hot Rods, the visiting West Michigan Whitecaps wore blue and white, sun-inspired uniforms during their 7-5 victory on Monday, Aug. 21.
Meanwhile, the Hot Rods, the Class-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, wore black, moon-inspired uniforms.
The Hot Rods and Whitecaps Solar Eclipse jerseys will be up for auction tomorrow!
